Book is 5.5" wide x 8" tall and 1 inch thick. All text, no photos. This was years before Fox went bankrupt and had to merger with Twentieth Century. This was the book the executives at Fox used to determine what would be played where. It includes the title, author, who owns which rights, original project name, type of project and more! Due to the age of the item it definitely shows signs of wear which are visible in the photos including some dark spots on the front and back page from moisture. The cover is no longer attached, and there are wear spots and small tears/bends on some sheets. Nevertheless - it is an extremely rare piece of Beatles' memorabilia. 20" tall by 13.5" wide The film portrays 36 hours in the lives of the group as they prepare for a television performance. Nominated for 2 Academy Awards. Forty years after its release, Time magazine rated it as one of the 100 all-time great films. The film is credited as being one of the most influential of all musical films, inspiring numerous spy films, the Monkees television show, pop music videos, and various other low-budget musical film vehicles starring British pop groups. |

Writer Robert Holmes later reused elements of this story in the first Jon Pertwee Doctor Who (1963) story, Doctor Who: Spearhead From Space Episode 1 (1970). Like this film, it was initially set in a remote English cottage hospital complete with a mysterious and unconscious alien stranger, puzzled doctors, an army patrol, and lurking alien forces in the nearby woods. This is the only known film storyline written by Robert Holmes, a prolific scriptwriter for British television during the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. |
