BEN HUR ~ $127.00Vinyl/rubber BEN HUR advertising flag-type banner with Middle-Eastern writing on it in the center. This was used as a hanging flag (there's a place you could run a thin dowel through it for hanging) to advertise with multi Academy Award winning film BEN HUR -released in 1959.
PLEASE NOTE THIS THIS ITEM HAS BEEN FOLDED: you can put a towel over it and iron it on low heat to reduce the fold mark. It could also use a wipe down/clean , but I didn't want to do it myself as some collectors prefer to do it themselves with their methods. Very heavyweight rubberized vinyl that is orange on one side and off white on the other. Measurements are: 15.3/4 across top 14.5 long at edges 16.5 long at center point This is an EXTREMELY RARE piece of film promotion. I would look great on the wall in a screening room or game room. Much more unique than a film poster or theater one sheet (the giant posters in theater lobbys). |
HOLIDAY ON THE BUSES ~ $21.97
Authentic, vintage HUGE poster of the third of three On The Buses films. Large, bright and colorful - this would be great framed in a game room, screening room or den. British comedy as its finest! This is the oversized poster that was hung in movie theaters to promote the film. The poster is in OKAY shape. There's a couple of tears and holes in the fold lines which I have taken close up shots of. If the poster is ironed, matted, and framed they will barely show. "Stan and Jack seek work at a bus driving holiday camp after being fired from the bus company for crashing two buses, only to find Inspector Blake works there also." |

Fold marks, and other small damages from hanging in a public theater are reflected in the low pricing. The film that introduced 'Murf the Surf. "Based on a true story, this film details the daring 1964 theft of the J.P. Morgan jewel collection from New York's American Museum of Natural History. Called "the greatest jewel heist of the 20th century," the robbers took twenty-two precious gems, including the Star of India, the 100.32-carat DeLong Ruby, and the 16.25-carat Eagle Diamond, stones so famous they would be impossible to sell. STEP DOWN IN TERROR ~ $37.77
UNFRAMED RARE MOVIE POSTER A rare find! Number 3 of 59 made of this particular poster. UNFRAMED authentic film lobby advertising poster from 1958. NOT A REPRINT. It will be mailed folded to avoid making anymore marks on the paper. Measures: 36 1/4" by 14 1/4" As this is a vintage item, there are signs on wear on the poster including fold marks and what I refer to as munch marks (probably due to be hung and taken down several times around the theater) on the corners. Also a small smear of blue (maybe ink?) that you can see in photo. Step Down to Terror (also known as The Silent Stranger) is a 1958 American film noir crime film directed by Harry Keller and starring Colleen Miller, Charles Drake, and Rod Taylor.
